Services

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and interactive. My first sessions with new clients typically begin with me providing educational information about different techniques we may use and why they are helpful for addressing your specific concerns.

I also start from a place of strength. Though you may begin therapy feeling discouraged or low, I aim to remind you of the resilience and skills you already possess, while helping you uncover new ways to approach and tackle challenges.

I’m a strong believer in the power of the “work in between” and may provide you with practices and handouts to complete between sessions to strengthen the skills you’re learning.

Personal Growth

Do you ever find yourself stuck in thought patterns that perpetuate feelings of anxiety or perfectionism?
Do you engage in habitual behaviors that negatively affect your personal relationships?
Does it feel like you’ve spent too long trying to change those behaviors, without success?

I understand, I’m here, and I want to help.

I have a passion for supporting highly motivated individuals with anxiety, perfectionism, career concerns, and relationship challenges. I focus my attention on helping my clients identify their strengths, recognize and alter unhelpful thought and behavioral patterns, and manage difficult emotions to reduce stress, gain insight, and increase life satisfaction.

Trauma & PTSD

Do you suffer from trauma or PTSD?

Do you experience flashbacks, low self-esteem, insomnia, or the unpredictable onset of painful memories and unpleasant emotions?

Are you seeking guidance on how you can develop healthy coping mechanisms that will help you get your life back?

I feel your pain, and I want to help you develop skills that can empower you to show up in your day-to-day life.

I use a combination of cognitive and body-based approaches to working with clients with trauma. This includes cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). I also help clients look at attachment traumas to better understand how those traumas impact both current relationships and one’s core beliefs about themselves.

Consultation

The goal of an initial consultation is for us to decide whether we think we’re a good match. I offer a free 15-minute phone or video call consultation for new clients. During this time, we will discuss what brought you to therapy and what goals you have for our time together. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions about my training, approach, and methods, as well as logistics, such as fees and insurance.
